Biba 2015: Marsh's Guerin wins Young Broker of the Year award

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association has named Alex Guerin from the risk management practice of Marsh as its national Young Broker of the Year for 2015.

Alan Clarke of Higos received a highly commended national finalist award and John Steven Newnes of Thomas Carroll was named as a national finalist which recognises the performance of younger brokers and encourages commitment to the future professionalism of insurance broking.

Alex Guerin won the 2015 Biba Young Broker of The Year Award as in the eyes of the judging panel, not only did his work and qualifications (and CPD record) mark him out as an exceptional candidate, his performance at the judging day cemented the judges' view that he was a worthy winner of this prestigious award.

The award was presented by The Rt Hon William Hague MP at the Biba conference today. 

Biba CEO Steve White, said: "It is a great pleasure to be able to recognise the stars of insurance broking. The winner and those shortlisted represent an important group of our sector who are instrumental in shaping our future. We are also pleased to have Alex involved with BIBA as part of our younger broking steering group and website working group. His input has been invaluable."
