ING considers European IPO
Dutch insurance group ING is contemplating an initial public offering for its European insurance businesses, the firm's chairman said this week.
Speaking as the group posted a 22% fall in quarterly net profit to €923m, chairman Jan Hommen said: "For insurance Europe, we are stepping up our efforts as we prepare for the base case of an IPO.
