Limited damage after Japan quake
The magnitude 7.3 earthquake that struck off the northeast coast of Japan on Friday is not expected to have caused significant damage, according to catastrophe modelling firm AIR Worldwide.
The quake struck in the same plate boundary region affected by last year's devastating magnitude 9.0 Tohoku incident, although that epicentre was about 150km closer to mainland Japan.
AIR said that
