Markel to set up German subsidiary in light of Brexit
Markel will apply for regulatory approval to establish an insurance company in Germany in light of Brexit.
Markel, which writes business from London, said it will set up the company to meet the insurance needs of clients in the EU 27 countries in the event of a hard Brexit.
