Market Moves: UK General hires former BMW man and Sue Langley returns to industry
This week saw a surge of appointments among insurers, with fresh faces at AIG, Allianz and UK General. The latter swooped for a former BMW man to serve as schemes director, while others looked to more conventional sources. Former Lloyd’s and Hiscox boss Sue Langley returned, though she won’t be taking on the industry directly in her role at UK Trade and Investment’s Financial Services Investment Organisation.
