‘Toxic sofa’ customers receive pay out
Axa, Chartis and Travellers have compensated more than 400 claimants in the ongoing £20m ‘toxic sofa’ legal wrangle.
Some 408 claimants received pay-outs of £1800 each after receiving chemical burns from leather sofas made in China, by companies Linkwise and Eurosofa, containing a chemical known as dimethyl fumarate
