Q&A video: implications of the Vnuk case on UK motor market
Following the European Court of Justice ruling in the UK government will very soon have to change the rules about what risks are covered by compulsory motor insurance law.
Among the more exotic vehicles that have been mentioned as needing insurance in the future are quad bikes, sit-on cleaning equipment, cherry pickers and forklift trucks.
To gain a greater insight into the potential consequences of Vnuk, Post content director Jonathan Swift sat down with BLM's director of policy and government affairs Alastair Kinley to discuss the case.
The two chat about the scope of the regulation, what it means for insurers and when the market can expect to see these changes implemented.
