Claims Apprentice 2019: Episode 1 - Meet the teams

In the first episode we get to meet the successful sextet who each outline: why they decided to take part in the first ever series of Claims Apprentice; what they are looking to get out of the process; and the skills they hope to display which might help them be successful.

Nick Thomas, sponsor Kennedys’ own Alan Sugar, also explains what he is looking for, and what traits he expects the eventual winner to show.

Once they have met each other for the first time, our final six - Dominic Sawkiw (RSA), Laura Eccles (Ecclesiastical), Simerjit Kaur (Allianz Insurance), Tosin Omosebi (QBE), Alex Riley and Verity Ross (both Zurich Insurance) - are placed into teams and set their first task - to come up with a name for their respective trios.

Are there signs of early tension or rapport? Who will come up with the best name? Is one apprentice already making an early move as the favourite for the crown?
