Omega Q1 GWP steady as cat losses “compare favourably to peers”

Omega Insurance Holdings has posted gross written premiums of $129.5m (2010: $124.5m) in Q1 2011.

Group premium participation on and reinsurance of Syndicate 958 increased 12.7% to $98.5m (2010: $87.4m).

Omega Specialty, Bermuda reduced premium by 26.4% to $19.5m (2010: $26.5m).
