Costa Concordia captain's sentence upheld

The captain of the Costa Concordia, which capsized in 2012 killing 32 people, has had his 16-year jail sentence upheld.

Malta Today reported that Italy’s highest court upheld Francesco Schettino’s 2015 sentence in which a court found him guilty of manslaughter, causing a maritime accident and abandoning ship.
