MP given eight-week ban after driving without insurance
Labour MP Jon Cruddas has been banned from the roads and told to pay a fine by Westminster magistrates after pleading guilty to driving with no insurance.
The 50 year-old MP for Dagenham and Rainham, who is a trusted advisor to Labour leader Ed Miliband, was also behind the wheel with an expired MoT certificate at the time of his arrest in July.
