Bank of England director calls for end to elite institutions

Bank of England executive director Victoria Saporta has warned financial services companies that they need to do more to understand why women were impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and end their image as "elite institutions".

Speaking online at the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Economics, Finance and Central Banking Conference on 15 November, Saporta raised concerns that women had borne the brunt of caring
