Axa unveils direct launch

Axa has signalled its intention to become a major player in the direct motor market after launching an aggressive marketing campaign to support its return to the sector.

Tina Shortle, Axa's new marketing director, told Post the insurer's decision to re-enter the direct market was driven by rate increases, and the success of its Swiftcover brand.
