US projected to fall to $1.56trn deficit
The United States will project on Monday that it is budgeting for a $1.56trn deficit for 2011, reports have said.
The defict is more than 10% of gross domestic product, and is seen by many commentators as a major stumbling block to Barack Obama's efforts on the health reform and unemployment front.
