Hong Kong gears up for Solvency II style regime

The Office of the Commissioner of Insurance in Hong Kong has hired KPMG to help produce a framework for a risk-based capital regime by the end of 2013.

The OIC has been working with KPMG for the last few months to help Hong Kong move in line with the Solvency II risk based capital regime in Europe.
