FCA CEO Andrew Bailey named next Bank of England governor
Andrew Bailey, CEO of the Financial Conduct Authority, will take over from Mark Carney as governor of the Bank of England in March.
Carney will step down on 15 March 2020, with Bailey taking over the following day.
Bailey, pictured, will be the bank’s 121st governor in its 325 year history, and the ninth since it was nationalised
