Brit launches Bermuda SPV for catastrophe capacity
Speciality insurer Brit has created a new special purpose vehicle to provide capacity support for its property treaty portfolio for 2015.
The new Bermuda reinsurer, Versutus, will reinsure a portion of Brit's excess of loss portfolio on catastrophe business through the capital markets.
The SPV will be capitalised at $75m, and capital
