Brake technology to cut insurance premiums

Motorists who buy cars fitted with autonomous emergency braking technologies as standard could benefit from cheaper insurance premiums from this month.

New work by the UK motor insurance repair research centre Thatcham means that the Association of British Insurers is to introduce important changes to the group rating system.

From 20 October, cars
