Inflation issues remain despite drop in rate
Speaking at the Insurance Post Claims Club, Allianz’s chief claims officer Graham Gibson stated that the latest inflation figures seen this week will not trickle down to insurance any time soon.
News broke on 22 May that consumer price index inflation decreased to 2.3% in April, its lowest point since October 2021 and close to the Bank of England’s 2% target.
